In the spirit of community gardening, the Bethlehem Good Neighbour Community Gardens team really have been working together well, as always. What a team. The prep for the Garden and Art Festival saw much activity, resulting in wonderful outcomes. The garden beds look amazing. They have been beautiful and productive. Gardens can surely be both these things.
The community atmosphere that has been nurtured at the Bethlehem Good Neighbour Community Gardens is a treasure to enjoy. With commitment to gardens and gardening, comes much laughter and learning. May this continue.
And what happened to the compost in the final bin? It’s been sabotaged for sure. We got to the bottom of it, well the bin anyway. Onward onward. The next batch is smelling beautiful.
And with Christmas just days away, who would have thought the potatoes would be ready for that special Christmas meal. Well harvesting has started. It’s good to know that it’s not only something you tend to read about.
