As the Garden and Art Festival drew nearer it was time for action. The garden bed holders, the volunteers, and the project team rallied around and made magic happen. New gardens were established, trips to the dump were made, tidying up the container happened. The hens’ enclosure even had a makeover. What a great way to start the summer season.
We wish all garden bed holders much joy and nutrition from their gardens. We wish the Welcome Bay community the opportunity to enjoy garden bed samples from the Good Neighbour Community Garden Beds.
We look forward to sharing time together in the new year. The Welcome Bay Community Gardens offer a platform for all to get together and spend time in a sharing and caring space, growing food and friendships, and therefore community. Feel free to drop in any Friday morning.
