Good Neighbour Stars

Good Neighbour Trust’s Mission:   To provide practical opportunities for people to support one another so that lives and neighbourhoods are transformed.

During Covid 19 we have heard some amazing stories of stars in the community providing support to people in need.   We want the community to have a positive page they can share your experiences and stories during Covid 19.

There will be winners chosen as prizes arrive to celebrate all that GOOD out there!

Nominated candidates will also be invited to be part of a new group of volunteers for Good Neighbour.   “Community Initiatives” as leaders in their area it is important to keep neighbours connected and engaged with needs right here in Tauranga and to provide a platform to do some amazing community projects.

Good Neighbour Trust is a modern charity with a vision to inspire everybody in NZ to see the needs rights next to them and respond with love, kindness and generosity.

With unemployment expected to be the highest we have seen in years, it’s important that people with talent, skills and knowledge and kindness have a place to go and be connected with friends and people.  Good Neighbour Trust will provide a purpose for life during life’s toughest times.

We will provide that platform through our:  Food Rescue, Projects, Kitchen, Firewood and Gardens team.   We also do community initiatives through the year like the charity bike drive.  Good Neighbour is a movement of people and we are passionate about supporting everybody in our community with the help of volunteers and our amazing sponsors.
